On Friday, the World Trade Organization issued a nearly identical ruling in favor of the European Union against Indonesia, as they did for the EU against Malaysia nearly a year ago. The WTO said EU measures on restrictions of palm oil as biofuel feedstocks are consistent with global trade rules, although some of the methods used to apply restrictions were deficient.
