Excluding the disruption caused by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/donnie-creek-wildfire-aftermath-1.6892294\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 126, 181); text-decoration: none;\">Donnie Creek wildfire</a> in May 2023, producers have been increasing production ahead of the start of liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.lngcanada.ca/news/lng-canada-2024-fall-update/\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 126, 181); text-decoration: none;\">LNG Canada</a> in Kitimat, British Columbia, which is on track to come online by the middle of&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=62984\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 126, 181); text-decoration: none;\">2025</a>.</span></p><p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Jost, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Natural gas exports to the U.S. Pacific Northwest over this same period averaged 3.7 Bcf/d, which is 11% (0.4 Bcf/d) more than the five-year average. Because natural gas production has risen in advance of demand for natural gas for LNG exports, more natural gas has gone into storage. The Jackson Prairie underground storage facility, operated by&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.pse.com/en/pages/energy-supply/natural-gas-storage\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 126, 181); text-decoration: none;\">Puget Sound Energy</a>, is the largest natural gas storage facility in the Pacific Northwest, with a working gas capacity of&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.eia.gov/naturalgas/ngqs/#?report=RP7&year1=2022&year2=2022&company=Name\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 126, 181); text-decoration: none;\">24.6 Bcf</a>. As of October 31, 2024,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.northwest.williams.com/NWP_Portal/dorArchFilter.action\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 126, 181); text-decoration: none;\">Jackson Prairie</a> was more than 90% full.</span></p></div>
