Speaking at the Peterson Institute Tuesday, US Treasury advisor said dozens of emerging low and middle income countries could be tied with decades of debt servicing issues, and lower economic growth due to China's unconventional debt practices. The official criticized China's lack of debt relief for those countries, adding that nearly 45 countries have 10% of debt relative to their GDP, but China has repeatedly failed to take write downs when the countries needed help.
