SC Farm Report on Wednesday

Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: No comparisons made this week due
to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500
lbs 170.00-175.00; 500-600 lbs 169.50-179.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 165.00; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers:
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 145.00-152.00; 500-600 lbs 140.00-
150.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 87.00-96.00; Boners 80-85%
lean 80.00-95.00; Lean 85-90% lean 70.00-83.00; Lean Low Dressing 50.00-
66.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 940-1730 lbs 99.00-115.00; High
Dressing 960 lbs 125.00; Low Dressing 930-1310 lbs 85.00-92.00.

Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported. Sows live
price 300-450 lbs 79.49; 450-500 lbs 85.74; 500-550 lbs 88.57.
SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn was 2 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids
6.25-6.75, processor bids 6.75-6.97. Soybeans were 9 to 21 cents higher;
elevator bids 14.25-14.55, processor bids 15.40, and export N/A. Wheat
bids were 23 cents lower to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 5.88-6.47.
Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3.93
lower at 128.32.
