SC Farm Report on Friday

SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers
and feeder heifers were 3.00 higher. Feeder bulls were 6.00 higher.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 140.00-177.50; 500-600
lbs 150.00-179.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs
140.00-167.50; 500-600 lbs 144.00-170.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-150.00; 500-600 lbs 134.00-150.00.
Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter Cattle: Breakers 75-80% lean
78.00-95.00; Boners 80-85% lean 78.00-99.00; High Dressing 100.00-110.00;
Lean 85-90% lean 70.00-91.00; Lean low dressing 50.00-73.00. Slaughter
bulls were steady. Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing 845-2180 lbs 91.00-
117.50; High Dressing 775-2320 lbs 114.00-128.00; Low Dressing 1035-1760
lbs 82.00-89.00.
Goats: [511] Week Ago: 272. Reported Monday to Wednesday.
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights

SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were mixed; 9 lower to 11 higher:
elevator bids 7.74-7.89; processor bids 6.80-8.60. Soybean bids were
49 to 50 cents lower; elevator bids 15.36-15.86, processor bid 16.60 and
export at No Bid. Wheat bids were 9 to 38 cents lower; elevator bids
6.30-6.42.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was .26
lower at 115.38.
