SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers
were 7.00 higher. Feeder heifers were 6.00 higher. Feeder bulls were
9.00 higher. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 165.00-
175.00; 500-600 lbs 146.00-180.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2
400-500 lbs 132.50-165.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00-157.00. Feeder Heifers:
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-146.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00-
145.00. Slaughter cows were 2.00 higher. Slaughter Cattle: Breakers 75-
80% lean 79.00-96.00; Boners 80-85% lean 78.00-102.00; High Dressing
92.00-115.00; Lean 85-90% lean 70.00-90.00; Lean low dressing 46.00-
75.00. Slaughter bulls were 4.00 higher. Slaughter Bulls: Average
dressing 915-2265 lbs 87.00-116.00; High Dressing 1230-1955 lbs 115.00-
129.00; Low Dressing 760-1715 lbs 63.00-93.00.

SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 4 cents higher: elevator bids
7.50-7.85; processor bids 7.42-8.25. Soybean bids were 13 to 17 cents
higher; elevator bids 15.20-15.70, processor bid 16.70 and export at
19.95. Wheat bids were 14 cents lower to 19 cents lower; elevator bids
7.09-7.60.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.86
lower at 117.15.
