SC Farm Report on Friday

SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, all classes
of feeder cattle were 2.00 lower. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2
400-500 lbs 112.00-137.50; 500-600 lbs 114.00-132.00. Feeder Bulls:
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 115.00-135.00; 500-600 lbs 112.00-
120.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 109.00-116.00,
500-600 lbs 108.00-114.00. Slaughter cows were 3.00 lower. Slaughter
cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 45.00-59.00; Boners 80-85% lean 44.00-65.00;
Lean 85-90% lean 44.00-54.00; Lean low dressing 30.00-45.00. Slaughter
bulls were 3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls: 990-2030 lbs 50.00-92.00.
Goats: [213] Week Ago: 180. Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are
estimated. Kids: Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 25.00, 20-40 lbs 30.00-70.00, 40-60
lbs 45.00-110.00, 60-80 lbs 120.00-130.00; Sel 2 40-60 lbs 45.00-55.00,
60-80 lbs 57.50-65.00. Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 200.00-
220.00, 100-150 lbs 260.00-430.00. Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 70.00-
135.00, 70-100 lbs 110.00-145.00, 100-140 lbs 125.00-170.00; Sel 2 50-70

Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 130.00, 100-150 lbs 120.00-160.00, 150-
250 lbs 130.00-205.00 and one @ 330.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 85.00-135.00,
100-150 lbs 145.00.
SC Grain on Friday. Corn was mostly 17 cents higher; elevator bids
4.37-4.47, processor bids 4.52-4.97. Soybeans were mostly 13 cents
higher; elevator bids 8.76-9.01, processor bid 9.36, and export 9.46.
Wheat bids were mostly 15 to 17 cents higher; elevator bids 5.08-5.18.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.46
higher at 64.38.
