SC Farm Report on Friday

SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder
cattle were 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2
400-500 lbs 125.00-137.50; 500-600 lbs 118.00-135.00. Feeder Bulls:
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 119.00-136.00; 500-600 lbs 112.00-
123.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 114.00-122.00,
500-600 lbs 109.00-116.00. Slaughter cows were 3.00 lower. Slaughter
cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 50.00-70.00; Boners 80-85% lean 51.00-73.00;
Lean 85-90% lean 41.00-60.00; Lean low dressing 34.00-53.00. Slaughter
bulls were steady. Slaughter bulls: 1095-2370 lbs 67.00-97.00.
Goats: [224] Week Ago: 197. Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are
estimated. Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 30.00-60.00, 40-60 lbs 40.00-85.00,
80-100 lbs 125.00; Sel 2 20-40 lbs 32.50. Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-
100 lbs 130.00-140.00, 100-150 lbs 180.00-190.00. Does/Nannies: Sel 1
50-70 lbs 95.00-110.00, 70-100 lbs 75.00-150.00, 100-140 lbs 102.50-
180.00; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 40.00-87.50, 70-100 lbs 70.00-75.00, 100-140 lbs
85.00-125.00. Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 122.50-145.00, 100-150 lbs

SC Grain on Friday. Corn was 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 3.95-
4.14, processor bids 4.20-4.45. Soybeans were mostly 3 to 4 cents
higher; elevator bids 8.38-8.59, processor bid 9.19, and export no bid.
Wheat bids were mostly steady; elevator bids 4.85-4.93.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.62
lower at 61.63.
