QT Morning Weather Synopsis: Overnight rains were active over The Dakotas into So Minn. Rains in Neb were good and extended into NE Kan. Delta also continued active. Most of the rains were half to 1 inch with some 1.5 inch totals. Radar today shows Neb/Kan still raining. Yesterday's frontal system has moved into Mo. The Minn system is now over Wisc. This system seems to stay around for the coming 4 days and has been beneficial for the western part of the belt.

This dry conditions also extends up into Mich. Starting to see divergent precip forecast again. The 6 to 10 and 8 to 14 day maps show normal to above normal temps for most of the country while the northern plains and Delta states are normal. 


The 6 to 10 day precip remains normal to below normal in the western half of the country while the east is normal to above normal. The 8 to 14 day map shows above normal precip for the eastern half of the country while the west is normal to below normal. Still a chance of colder temps showing around Sep 1 and again Sep 15?
