Buenos Aires Grain Exchange in a Friday report said a dry hot summer is starting to damage the 24/25 Argentine corn and soybean crops. Southern top corn growing areas are beginning to show signs of plant stress from lack of water, soybean croplands under adequate to optimal moisture conditions dropped to 81% from 88% previously. However, the exchange noted overall both crops continue to progress well.
