 Compared to last week: feeder steers too few too trend, feeder heifers 

steady to 3.00 higher, feeder bulls steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter 

cows 1.00 to 8.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 6.00 to 7.00 higher.  Feeder 

Steers: Medium and 

Large 1 400-500 lbs 320.00-355.00; 500-600 lbs 284.00-300.00. Feeder 

Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 302.50-390.00; 500-600 lbs 260.00

-285.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 250.00-300.00; 

500-600 lbs 232.50-270.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 110.00-

130.00; Boners 80-85% lean 110.00-138.00; High Dressing 134.00-148.00; Lean 85

-90% lean 100.00-130.00; Lean low dressing 60.00-109.00. Slaughter Bulls: 

Average dressing 1275-2180 lbs 135.00-163.00; High Dressing 1930-1955 lbs

   Goats: [262] Last Week: 193 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 

and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are estimated.

   SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 5 cents higher; elevator bids 

4.51-5.16, processor bids 5.06-5.26. Soybean bids were 11 cents higher;

elevator bids 9.44-9.54, processor bid 10.04 and Exports at 10.14. Wheat bids were 

steady to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.73.

   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 65 cents 

higher at 66.81.
